Here's a rare one: anyone who owns a Ken Smith BT6 bass like this one doesn't seem to part with it! Handmade in Perkasie, PA, this bass boasts all the hallmarks of Ken Smith's design: 5-piece maple/mahogany neck-through construction with graphite reinforcement, Flame maple top, handmade "scalloped" brass nut," 3-band active EQ/preamp, and proprietary recessed strap locks. Traditional 34" scale length allows for a bit less of a learning curve when handling the low B string. This is a hi-fi 6-string for the serious bassist!

Neck is straight and true with comfortable low action and plenty of life left on the frets. Some surface-level wear and nicks in the finish on the bass side horn, all from honest play, but nothing affecting tone or structural stability. Will ship with original Smith hard case and strap.
