You are looking at an original California-made Boogie Hardtail Strat Neck #229 and Body, which we believe is circa 1980. It plays and sounds great! Beautiful bird's-eye maple neck is straight, with low, easy action, and frets show minimal wear. Ash body delivers clear, bright tones with a smooth, rounded bottom. The bridge has a Dimarzio DP116 HS-2 Stacked hum-canceling pickup. We're not sure what the other pickups are, but could be Fenders. This has 1950s appointments, single-ply pickguard, rounded pickup covers, two-tone sunburst. Nut width is 1 3/4," and the D neck shape is very comfortable. Weighs in at a little over 7 lbs.
