Up for sale is a rare one - this Yamaha SA-15 D was only made for a few years between 1969-1972, and don't come up for sale often! A great Japanese-made semi-hollowbody at a reasonable price, the "D" variant of the SA-15 boasted some more upscale appointments like body/neck binding and thumbnail fret markers. 24.75" scale length and proprietary Yamaha hum-cancelling pickups, plus a Bigsby-style vibrato arm. All fully tested and functional. Neck is straight and true, with comfortable low action and plenty of life left on the frets.
Some surface-level nicks in the finish, all pictured, in line with age and play. The pickguard has cracked at the uppermost end, pictured. Nothing affecting structural stability or playability. Will ship with original hardshell case (hinges currently broken) and a new gig bag.
